Quotes and invoices

Chasing a quote or an unpaid invoice? We'll write the follow-up.

Deskline writes one finished note. You send the amount, the date, and the name. It comes back by email the next business day. You send it yourself. We never contact your client.

How it works

You send it from your own email.

  1. 1

    Send the facts

The amount, the due date or the quote date, the client name, and any history. Say what we should not mention.

  2. 2

We write a firm, friendly note

The finished text arrives by email the next business day. One revision is included.

  3. 3

    You send it

From your own email. We do not log in, and we do not contact your client.

The note

What makes it work.

  • It restates the amount and the due date.
  • It asks for a specific pay-by date, not “when you can.”
  • It stays short and factual. No lecture.

Example

One follow-up on an unpaid invoice.

Example

Hi Jordan — this is a note on invoice 1842 for $640, due October 3. We have not seen the payment. Could you send it by Friday, October 17, or reply if something is holding it up?

Questions

Short answers.

Do you contact my client?

No. We email the finished note to you. You send it from your own email. We never log into your account, and we do not write to your client.

Can it be firmer for a second or third reminder?

Yes. Tell us which reminder it is, and what you already said. The note can be firmer and still stay factual.
